Floyd Alvin 'Skip' Thompson passed away on Wed. Dec. 7 2022.

Skip was born in Bremerton, Wash. on Sept. 30, 1935 to Norman and Maude Thompson. Growing up, his family worked throughout Wash and Idaho and he followed this trend until settling in Lind after 6 years of service in the Marines. He met his wife Doris in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and they were married in 1957. After moving to Lind in 1959 Skip held several jobs including working for Adams County, local farmers, as a bartender, and the gas station.
