CHASTAIN; THE HEIRS AND DEVISES OF THE ESTATE OF WALTER WILSON CHASTAIN; and all other persons unknown claiming any estate, right, title, lien, or interest in the real property described in the complaint adverse to Plaintiffs’ ownership or any cloud on Plaintiffs’ title thereto:
You are hereby summoned to appear within sixty days (60) after the date of the first publication of this summons, to wit, within sixty days (60) after the 21st day of September, 2022, and defend the above entitled action in the above entitled court, and answer the complaint of the Plaintiff, NIKKI PERKINS, and serve a copy of your answer upon the undersigned attorneys for plaintiffs, Jonathan C. Edwards of Earl and Edwards PLLC, at their office below stated; and in case of your failure so to do, judgment will be rendered against you according to the demand of the complaint, which has been filed with the clerk of said court.
The complaint is asking for a judgment, order, or decree to quiet title to real property in Adams County, Washington with the following legal description:
LOT 3, BLOCK 166, OTHELLO LAND CO’S FIRST ADDITION TO OTHELLO, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF OF RECORD IN THE OFFICE OF THE AUDITOR OF ADAMS COUNTY, WASHINGTON.

The complaint alleges that Plaintiff is entitled to title of the property through adverse possession and that Defendants’ interest of record is a cloud upon Plaintiffs’ title.
