Broncos sweep Reardan

REARDAN - The Broncos girls volleyball team remains undefeated in league sweeping rival Reardan on Sept. 27.

The local Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Harrington team topped the Screaming Eagles, in straight sets, 25-19, 25-21, 25-20 Sept. 27.

The loss dropped Reardan to 1-2 in league and 4-2 overall, with the other loss coming to undefeated-in-league Colfax. LRS is now 3-0 in league and 5-1 overall.

A trio of Galbreaths led the way for the Broncos.

Taylor Galbreath had 15 kills, five aces and a block, while Zoe Galbreath notched 18 assists and Saige Galbreath had 15 digs.

Emma Flaa had five kills and an ace for Reardan. Liz Bell had four kills, an ace and 14 digs, while Justine Flett had 17 digs and five assists.

Zoe Johnson was the lone player from Harrington to suit up for the Broncos Tuesday, but she didn't see any match action.

The Broncos hosted St. George's on Sept. 29; the score was not reported.
