Truck driver falls asleep at wheel on I-90

RITZVILLE – A Florida man was injured in a crash Saturday, Oct. 1, on Interstate 90 about 2 miles east of the city.

Wileme Dorceus, 44, LakeWorth, Fla., was transported to a hospital after the 12:14 a.m. crash near Milepost 225.

Dorceus is facing a second-degree negligent driver charge in connection with the crash.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Dorceus was westbound on the interstate when he fell asleep at the wheel and drifted into the median.
