Bergman awaiting extradition from Pennsylvania
SPRAGUE – The U.S. Marshal Service has apprehended a man wanted in connection with the death of his wife.
Charles Bergman, 54, of Moses Lake, was arrested Friday night, Sept. 23, by U.S. Marshals in New Stanton, Penn., after a nationwide search.
As of press time, he was awaiting extradition back to Washington state.
Details of his arrest were not immediately available.
Once extradited, Bergman is facing a probable charge of first-degree murder in Lincoln County for allegedly killing his 53-year-old wife, Theresa Bergman of Moses Lake, and dumping her body in a wheat field in rural Lincoln Coun...
