RITZVILLE - Ritzville utility bills will arrive late this month due to a software problem with the billing system, the city announced Monday, April 4.
According to City Clerk/Treasurer Julie Flyckt, customers can expect to receive their bills in the mail by the end of the week.
Because of the delay, the payment due date is extended to April 15.
April is the first bill based on actual meter readings since October.
During the winter months water usage is estimated. If actual usage exceeds the estimates over the winter, the April bill can be higher.
Customers with concerns about their utility bills can contact city hall at 509-659-1930.
