Continuance granted in assault on a State Senator

RITZVILLE – A continuance was granted until January 4, 2022, in Ritzville District Court, for charges against Glenn R Stockwell related to an assault on State Senator Mark Schoesler, October 11 in Ritzville.

Judge Andrea Russell granted the continuance in a court hearing December 7, following a request by both the defense and prosecution. During the court hearing Judge Russell disclosed a prior association with Mr. Stockwell in March of 2021, when Russell was an Adams County Deputy Prosecutor.
