Broncos named to All-Opponent teams

RITZVILLE – Nine Lind-Ritzville/Sprague football players received NE 2B All-Opponent honors for the 2021 season.

Six of the players were recognized for play on both offense and defense.

Freshmen Brody Boness hit the trifecta, receiving honors for offense, defense and special teams.

On the offensive line senior Kolby Tracy and junior Hayden Stone received first team honors. Junior Blake Esser was named to the second team.

At quarterback, junior Chase Galbreath was named to the first team.

At running back, sophomore Brock Kinch was named to the first team and freshman Brody Boness received second team honors.

At receiver, junior Hunter Dinkins was named to the second team.

At the offensive flex position (RB/WR/TE) junior Hayden Melcher was named to the second team.

Defensively, Stone was named to the first team and Tracy was named to the second team on the defensive line.

At linebacker, Dinkins was selected first team and Boness was named to the second team.

In the defensive backfield, junior Nick Labes and Galbreath were named to the first team and Melcher was named to the second team.

At the defensive flex position (DE/LB/DB), Kinch was named to the second team. First team punt returner is Brody Boness.

Head Coach Greg Whitmore was named NE 2B Coach of the Year.
