RITZVILLE – The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos begin the post season with a home crossover “play in” game later this week.
The undefeated Broncos, the No. 1 seed from the Northeast 2B league (District No. 7), will host the fourth-place team from District No. 6 in North-Central Washington.
The winner will advance to the state playoffs.
The opponent of that game will be either the Tonasket Tigers (3-4 overall, 2-4 in league) or the Manson Trojans (3-5 overall, 1-4 in league). They face off for the second time this season at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, in Tonasket.
Tonasket defeated Manson earlier this season, 29-0, in Manson on Sept. 17.
The Journal went to press before the second Tonasket-Manson game kicked off Tuesday night.
