Janice D Beard Mills went to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 10, 2021 at the age of 63 due to complications from covid-19. Janice was born on Mar. 2, 1958 to Paul and Jennie Beard in San

Bernardino, Calif. Janice was living in Ritzville, Wash.

Janice and Michael Mills were married on Sept. 25, 1976. She spent her time raising their wonderful children Matthew and Amanda. When the children were in school she did a plethora of jobs including working as an assistant at an Optometrist office, bank teller, court clerk/ supervisor, adult probation officer and as a substitute elementary teacher. Janice was known for her amazing cupcakes

hence her nickname, The Cupcake Lady. Janice rarely followed recipes and was known for jigging up her cooking.

Janice was a very active volunteer at church, participated in several mission trips through the years; she

was a Gideon's Auxiliary member and served with the wives of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Janice was preceded in death by her Mother, Jennie Beard and Brother, Matt Beard.

Janice is survived by her husband of 45 years, Michael Mills, son, Matthew (Jennifer) Mills, daughter, Amanda (Cam) Poggensee, her Grandchildren, Davis, Logan, Phillip, Jennah, Allie, Elliot, Calleigh, Kartini and Joash. Her Father, Paul Beard, sister Jeannette Dewitt and her family.

There will be two celebrations of Janice's life: 10/30/2021 11 am, Foursquare Church, Ritzville, Wash.

12/11/2021 1 pm VFW Hall, Sebastopol, Calif.
