Bell leads Schmunk in Lind mayoral race

London Dew, Wold and Laura Dew lead in town council races

LIND - UPDATE 11/5 - The number of ballots counted in Lind Mayor and City Council races nearly doubled in three days. Incumbent Paula Bell has a 6 vote lead over challenger Jamie Schmunk, 100 to 94, in the race for Lind Mayor. The Council Position 1 race has changed in favor of challenger London Dew, who trailed Tuesday evening, but now leads incumbent Rosemary Elkington by 15 votes, 106 to 91. For position 2 Mike Wold still leads, but by only 11 votes over Sheri Marlin 102-93. For postion 3 Laura Dew now holds a commanding 67 vote lead over Richard Baldwin 131 to 64.

NOVEMBER 2 - Incumbent Paula Bell has a 7 vote lead over challenger Jamie Schmunk, 59 to 52, in the race for Lind Mayor. Challenger London Dew trails incumbent Rosemary Elkington by 5 votes, 52 to 57 in the Lind city council Position 1 race. For Position 2 Mike Wold with a 19 vote lead, appears to have beaten Sheri Marlin, 64 to 45. For Position 3 challenger Laura Dew holds a 10 vote lead over incumbent Richard Baldwin.
