Lind-Ritzville enthrone their nobility

RITZVILLE — A local girl said it is a “real honor” be have been named 2021 Lind-Ritzville Homecoming queen.

Sydney Kinch, 17, a senior, said she believed there was a good chance she would be elected because she was a princess in the royal court her sophomore year..

Kinch is the daughter of farmer Joe Kinch and Ritzville Warehouse secretary Natalie Kinch.

She is involved in many school activities and clubs, including Associated Student Body, Future Business Leaders of America and National Honor Society. She’s also one of the schools star athletes, competing in volleyball and track.

When not in school, Kinch likes to listen to music, dance, sing and hang out with friends, she said.

She is involved in ballet, jazz, and said she has been dancing since she was 5 years old. Kinch has several pets, including a dog and four farm cats.

When considering what she will do after graduation, Kinch said, "I plan on attending a four-year university and either becoming a registered dietitian or a dermatologist."

She said her favorite things to do in the Ritzville area is to hang out with friends, go on drives and play sports, noting health and fitness are her passion.

Lind-Ritzville King

Bronc Hutsell was crowned Lind-Ritzville Homecoming king last week.

The son of ranchers Chad and Lindsay Hutsell,

A senior, the 17-year-old Hutsell said he was surprised and honored to be selected.

Hutsell is involved in several school activities, including being Associated Student Body vice president and a member of Future Business Leaders of America.

He is also involved in track and Future Farmers of America trapshooting. He’s also a Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball fan.

When he is not in school, Hutsell likes to hang out with friends and listen to music, preferably classic and modern, hard rock.

His favorite hobbies are winter trap shooting. riding horses and welding, a trade her plans to pursue after graduating.

“I am hoping to get a two-year business degree and be a welder.” Hutsell said
