Gail Lynnette (Franz) Hudson, 66, peacefully passed away on Aug. 20, 2021. She was born in Spokane, Wash. on July 6, 1955 to Earl and Helen Franz.
She is survived by her three daughters, Jamie Brault, Meghan Johnson and Jessica Hudson and her seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Yvonne Redelfs and Jeanette Filan and her father Earl Franz. She is preceded in death by her mother Helen Franz.
Gail was born in Spokane, and spent the majority of her childhood on her family farm in Lind, Wash. After graduating from Lind High School she went on to receive her nursing degree. After relocating to Richland, Wash with her three daughters she became a Paraeducator for the Richland School District for the last 24 years. Gail had a gift with children and loved and cared for all of the students she worked with.
Known for her laughter and fun, Gail was always the first one to plan a practical joke. You couldn’t help but laugh when around her. Gail’s life was filled with her love for her grandchildren, but no matter whom you were, Gail made you feel special and loved.
A service will be held on Sat., Sept. 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillspring Church, 1153 Gage Blvd, Richland, WA. 99352. Gail’s ashes will be interred at the Menno Mennonite Church Cemetery.
