Class of 2021 receives almost $340,000 in scholarships

RITZVILLE – Lind-Ritzville graduates received a total of $339,770 in scholarships this year. The following awards and scholarships were given to the class of 2021 at their graduation ceremony Saturday, June 5.

Scholarships

Julia Klein - $62,600: RHS/LRHS Alumni Association Scholarship, Ritzville Education Association Scholarship, Southern Nazarene University President’s Academic Scholarship, Washington Wheat Ambassador Scholarship, Big Bend Electric Cooperative Scholarship, National PEO STAR Scholarship, Northwest Farm Credit Services Scholarship, Ritzville Church of the Nazarene Scholarship, Ritzville Warehouse Scholarship, Pat Oestreich Memorial Scholarship, Carol Krehbiel and Jennie Jantz Scholarship, AR PEO Scholarship, American Legion Scholarship, David and Francis G. Ray Scholarship, Presidential Leadership Scholars Scholarship, LRS Bronc Boosters Scholarship, FFA Alumni Scholarship and Adams County Farm Bureau Scholarship.

Rosa Alfaro - $500: RHS/LRHS Alumni Association Scholarship.

Emma Dennis - $500: Phillips Family Foundation.

Jay Harder - $3,500: RHS/LRHS Alumni Association Scholarship, Grant County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen Scholarship, LRS Bronc Boosters Scholarship, Emanuel Lutheran Paul Teske Memorial Scholarship and Adams County Farm Bureau Scholarship.

Drew Kelly - $2,000: Western Propane Gas Association Scholarship.

Mercedes Miller - $4,500: Eastern Washington University Dean’s Scholarship, RHS/LRHS Alumni Association Scholarship, and Mary C. Pierce Scholarship.

Doug Morris - $1,000: Virginia Moorman Moore Scholarship.

Brynne Nelson - $88,000: University of Providence Track Scholarship.

Ashlynn Norton - $2,2500: Eastern Oregon University Scholar Award, Eastern Oregon Scholarly Need Award.

Andrea Novoa - $500: RHS/LRHS Alumni Association Scholarship.

Thomas Rosen - $1,500: Lind Alumni Association Scholarship, Phillips Family Foundation.

Hayley Rushing - $500: RHS/LRHS Alumni Association Scholarship.
