RALSTON HAS SCHOOL MEET

A very interesting community meet was held out at Ralston last Friday. In the morning, he contests in spelling, writing and athletics took place. In the afternoon the declamation contests were held followed by a program in which pupils from the schools in the community center took part. Parents were present from all parts of the neighborhood. At noon a big cafeteria dinner was served at the school house, ample to satisfy the crowd who came. The editor of this paper was present and can testify enthusiastically to the culinary skills of Ralston housewives. The winners of the different contests will represent the community center at the county meet at Washtucna next week.
