Child Protective Services (CPS) requested assistance regarding a welfare check at the location. Deputies found no law enforcement action was required.
Fraud - 100 block North “I” Street Lind
Deputies reported to the location regarding a possible fraud. Complainant advised of a Go Fund Me account made under his name.
Civil Matter - 600 block South Taylor Road Othello
Complainant requested phone contact regarding a landlord/tenant matter at the location. Complainant was advised to follow recommendations received from their legal counsel.
Fraud - 300 block South Reynolds Road Othello
Report of a fraudulent caller who had her load $500 onto a Walmart gift card. The caller threatened of warrants for the complainant’s arrest if not paid. Deputies advised this is a common scam used to take people’s money.
Agency Assist - 500 block West Broadway Avenue Ritzville
Deputies assisted the Ritzville Police Department with a welfare check/suicidal subject near the location. Deputies assisted with transporting the subject to East Adams Rural Hospital.

Traffic Hazard - South Highway 17 and West Lee Road Othello
Traffic hazard call at the location. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle described.
Burglary - East Weber Road Ritzville
Report of a burglary at an agricultural shed at the location. Investigation is ongoing.
Animal Problem - West Lind-Warden Road and North Roxboro Road Lind
Report of an injured deer at the location. Deputies observed the deer severely injured. The deer was dispatched and removed from the area.
Welfare Check - 100 block Cherry Street Hatton
Deputies were dispatched for a welfare check at the location and determined everything to be fine.
Suspicious - 2100 block West Cunningham Road Othello
Report of a female being chased by a car and yelling at the location. Deputies determined subjects were searching for their dogs and the female was walking in front of the car yelling the dog’s names while the male party drove behind her. The dogs were located and deputies cleared.
Agency Assist - South Highway 17 and West Lee Road Othello
Dispatch advised of a hit and run with the suspect vehicle fleeing. Deputies located the complainant in a local parking area. The complainant was found to be unharmed and the incident was turned over to the Washington State Patrol for investigation.

Alarm - 1800 block West Foley Road Othello
False alarm.
Citizen Assist - 600 block South Eagle Road Othello
Deputies arrived on scene for a citizen assist call. Complainant advised of her significant other leaving and receiving messages from an unknown number.
Traffic Hazard - 800 block South Taylor Road Othello
Report of erratic driven vehicle near the location. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.
March 1
Suspicious - 600 block South Taylor Road Othello
Deputies located a vehicle stopped in the park after dark, and advised the occupants of the park’s closure.
DUI - South Taylor Road and South Eagle Road Othello
Deputies contacted a passenger vehicle for an equipment violation. The vehicle’s driver was found to be under the influence. Ubaldo Gomez-Simental, 30, of Othello was arrested and booked into jail for DUI.
Welfare Check - 1100 block North Newland Road Ritzville
Deputies contacted a subject in a welfare check, who stated he was fine and would contact family.
Agency Assist - South Booker Road and West Herman Road Othello
Deputies responded to the area for a reported vehicle driving recklessly through a construction zone. Deputies determined no reckless driving occurred and the driver was released without incident.
Traffic Accident - 2200 block West Rainier Road Othello
Complainant reported a hit and run traffic collision at the location two weeks prior. Deputies determined no hit and run occurred.
Agency Assist - South Highway 17 and West Yeisley Road Othello
Deputies responded to the area for a two-vehicle injury collision. The scene was secured and medical aid was rendered to the drivers until Washington State Patrol arrived .
Abandoned Vehicle - 600 block South Taylor Road Othello
Request for a junk vehicle form. Deputies checked the vehicle and determined it did not qualify for a junk vehicle affidavit.
Citizen Assist - 2100 block West April Street Othello
Request for contact regarding information on an existing no contact order. Deputies determined the order in question had not been served. The matter was referred to the civil deputy for information.
Alarm - 1900 block West Hampton Road Othello
False alarm.
Agency Assist - North 14th Avenue and East Main Street Othello
Othello Police Department requested assistance with traffic control while investigating a pedestrian versus vehicle collision. Deputies diverted traffic as required.
Theft - 2500 block West Bench Road Othello
Deputies contacted a complainant and learned a gaming console along with a firearm were determined to be missing. Investigation is ongoing.
Suspicious - 300 block South Reynolds Road Othello
Complainant advised hearing voices outside the residence. Deputies did not locate anyone outside the residence or walking around in the area.

Domestic - 100 block West 3rd Street Lind
Complainant reported on-going assaults at the location. Deputies responded to the location and the suspect had fled the area. Investigation is ongoing.
Suspicious - East Seidl Road Ritzville
Report of finding lottery tickets and mail at the location. Deputies collected the items and the investigation is ongoing.
Suspicious - West Vulcan Street Lind
Report of a vehicle parked in the road at the location. The owner had car trouble and was able to retrieve it shortly after deputy arrival.
Trespassing - West Shelly Road Othello
Deputies contacted juveniles who were trespassing on private property. Deputies released the juveniles and cleared due to emergent call for service..
Threatening - 800 block South Highway 24 Othello
Anonymous complainant reported a subject threatening a family member with a knife at the location. Deputies contacted the subjects who were uncooperative and denied any altercation or threats occurring.
Assault - 1500 block West 1st Avenue Ritzville
Complainant advised of being assaulted by battery acid at an unknown location on I-90. Deputies determined no assault had occurred.
Animal Problem - North Hills Road Ritzville
Loose cattle in the roadway at the location.
Suspicious 911 - 600 block South Kristina Road Othello
An unidentified subject contacted dispatch and could be heard sobbing. Deputies spoke with adults located within the residence. The subjects advised the matter was an argument between two subjects no longer on the property.
Threatening - 800 block South Taylor Road Othello
Juvenile complainant reported hearing a parent make threats to harm a family member. Deputies determined the subject making the threats was impaired and suffered from a mental illness related to previous narcotics use. The threat was determined not to be credible. The subject was transported by secondary family member to separate residence for the evening.

Traffic Accident - 2600 block Bench Road Othello
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle non-injury collision at the location. The at-fault driver was cited for a traffic violation.
Theft - 2500 block West Highway 24 Othello
Deputies responded to the location for a reported theft. Deputies found it was related to a previous incident documented in January.
Malicious Mischief - 2200 block West Rainier Road Othello
Deputies responded to the location for a reported malicious mischief to vehicles. Damage was found on the vehicles.
Traffic Hazard - East Weber Road Ritzville
Report of a vehicle losing a portion of a load at the location. The vehicle sustained prior damage in a collision in the Spokane area and lost a portion of the roof. Ritzville Police handled the matter before deputy arrival.
Traffic Hazard - South McKinney Road and South Thacker Road Othello
Complainant reported road work being done with traffic passing by at a high rate of speed and nearly striking workers. Deputies did not observe any traffic hazards.
Court Detail - 400 block East Main Street Othello
Deputies were dispatched to Othello District Court for an agitated subject. Deputies stood by until the subject was done with court and exited the building.
Lost/Found Property - South Taylor Road and West Hampton Road Othello
Complainant called to report finding a purse and no vehicles or subjects nearby. Responsible advised they would contact dispatch to collect her purse.
Malicious Mischief - 1500 block North Batum Road Ritzville
Report of a cold burglary at the location. Deputies contacted the complainant, who showed them the neighboring property they look after. No indications of entry were made and nothing reported missing.
Citizen Assist - West Highway 24 Othello
Report of a disabled vehicle at the location. Subject inside was intoxicated and provided with a courtesy house to his residence. Vehicle was parked at a nearby business with permission of the owner.
Animal Problem - 1800 block West Foley Road Othello
Report of a dog bite call at the location. Deputies contacted the responsible who advised of her dogs being loose and would secure them in their kennel.
Malicious Mischief - 700 block South Obrian Road Othello
Investigation is ongoing into a malicious mischief call at the location.
Traffic Offense - South Broadway Avenue and East Columbia Street Othello
Kevin E. Rafaylan-Delcid of Othello, 20 was found operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Rafaylan-Delcid was arrested, cited, and released from the scene for the traffic related offense.

Agency Assist - North Highway 395 near milepost 94 Ritzville
Washington State Patrol requested assistance with a disabled motorist at the location. Deputies assisted the trooper with taking the subject into custody for violation of a court order. Deputies stood by for the tow and provided courtesy transport for multiple subjects from the vehicle.
Suspicious - 400 block West 3rd Street Lind
Report of a something cooking on the sidewalk at the location. Deputies found a subject had burnt food and placed it outside of the home.
Agency Assist - West I-90 near milepost 215 Ritzville
Washington State Patrol requested assistance with a traffic stop with a possibly stolen vehicle at the location. Deputies assisted until it was determined the vehicle was not stolen.
Animal Problem - 1700 block East Heinemann Road Ritzville
Deputies assisted the owner with capturing a loose llama at the location.
Threatening - 600 block South Thacker Road Othello
Report of a subject making threatening statements in a voicemail. Deputies reviewed the voicemail left by the subject and did not find any threats being made.
Suspicious - East Highway 21 and North Jantz Road Lind
Repot of two female subjects placing small items on the railroad tracks. Deputies contacted two juvenile females who denied placing items on the tracks. The juveniles were counseled about playing on the tracks and the mother was contacted.
Traffic Hazard - West Bench Road and South Highway 17 Othello
Report of a traffic hazard call at the location. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate any vehicles matching the description.
Suspicious - 600 block South Kaylee Road Othello
Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle at the location. The vehicle was determined to be from the ex-husband. Complainant requested the sheriff’s office tow the vehicle, and was told it was on private property and would require her calling the towing company.
