Juan Pineda, 30, of Othello was arrested and later booked into jail for physical control of a motor vehicle while impaired following a call about a vehicle stopped on canal access roadway.

Report of an employee at Adams County Pet Rescue, being a no-call, no-show for work. Upon contact, the employee explained they may have found evidence of a homicide on their property. Deputies collected the evidence.

Report of a fraud call regarding a credit card.

Report of a subject walking near the tracks with a light layer of clothing. Deputies provided a courtesy ride into Ritzville.

Report of a fraud call at the location. The complainant advised of receiving mail from collections.

Burglary - 800 block West Griffith Road Ritzville

Report of a burglary near the location. The complainant witnessed two doors to be “ kicked in” and did not know if anyone was currently inside. Deputies were unable to determine if anything was missing. Owner was out of town.

Report of loud music at the location.

Report of multiple gun shots near the location. Deputies didn’t locate anyone shooting and no other shots were heard or reported.

Deputies observed a truck stuck in a ditch and contacted several subjects who advised they were hunting in the area.

Suspicious - West Highway 26 and South Broadway Avenue Othello

Deputies were dispatched to the location for a male on foot looking over a bridge. Deputies provided the male a courtesy ride.

Deputies contacted a complainant who advised of several subjects hunting in the area.

Ritzville police requested assistance with clearing an unsecured building. Deputies responded and no one was located inside.

Deputies assisted the Ritzville Police Department with CPR on a medical call. Deputies stood by for scene security while Ritzville police investigated the incident.

Report of a burglary in progress where subjects were observed trying to enter a shop. Deputies found all buildings locked and secure. Complainant called back advising subjects were outside the residence. Deputies returned and found no one at the location.

Deputies observed two dogs on the road creating a hazard. Deputies contacted the responsible and he secured them to his property.

Report of a burglary at the location. Deputies contacted the complainant and searched the residence to verify it was clear of suspects. Investigation is ongoing.
