Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
During last year’s holiday season, I submitted a letter to the Journal appealing to those in our communities to consider donating to our local non-profit organizations. I would like to again encourage your readers to do the same this year. The four organizations I mentioned last year (Lind and Ritzville Ministerial Associations, Ritzville Food Pantry and The Collective Adventure) all have a vital role helping individuals and families in need, especially during this time of year. These organizations do not normally have official fundraising activities, so a large part of their budget is dependent on the generosity of individuals. So, if you are able to donate to one or more of these worthy local non-profits, you can send them to:
Ritzville Ministerial Association
P.O. Box 272
Ritzville, WA 99169
Lind Ministerial Association
P.O. Box 527
Lind, WA 99341
Ritzville Food Pantry
P.O. Box 442
Ritzville, WA 99169
The Collective Adventure
P.O. Box 261
Ritzville, WA 99169
You will receive a tax-deductible receipt and a blessing for providing for “the least of these.”
Merry Christmas,
Kim Schofstoll
