Bonne L. (Studerman) King

Bonne L. (Studeman) King passed away peacefully on August 16, 2020. Bonne was born in Spokane Wash. on December 5, 1930 to K. Irene (Burnette) Studeman and Arthur D. Studeman. Bonne spent her childhood with her siblings, Patrica, Doug and Arlene, at Amber Lake, Wash. and Spokane, Wash. Her family moved to California her senior year. Bonne went to cosmetology school after completing high school.

She married the late C.E. (Chuck) Holland on December 25, 1949. Being in the Air Force they lived on bases in the Philippines, Montana and Nevada. Along the way they adopted three children, Laurinda, Dianna and Wesley. After retiring from the Air Force the family moved to Birchwood, Alaska, then to Moses Lake, Wash. finally settling back in Spokane in 1988.

Bonne became a widow in 1994, deciding she needed another hobby; she joined a ballroom dance class where she met her second husband, Mitchell C. King, and married him in July, 1996. They enjoyed their retirement years traveling around visiting their children and grandchildren.

After Mitchell passed in 2005, Bonne stayed in Spokane where she spent her time doing her favorite activities, quilting, crafting and gardening and enjoying family and friends. Bonne moved to Lind, WA in 2011 to be with her daughter Laurinda. Because of health issues, in 2017, Bonne moved to Rose Garden Estates in Ritzville, Wash. She made many wonderful friends there and loved all her caregivers, who took great care of her.

Bonne is survived by her brothers- Doug (Derrallene) Studeman, Bob (Tien) Hildeman, sisters- Arlene (Charlie) Galambos and Jeany (Andrea) Pirzio-Biroli. Children- Laurinda (Dane) Strausz, Dianna Holland, P. Wesley Holland, Steve (Kate) King, John (Linda) King, Brad (Kristine) King, Leslie (Rip) Divis, 34 grandchildren and spouses, 107 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00 am at Ballard Meadows, 38 W. Ballard Rd, Colbert, WA.
