RITZVILLE – A total of 29 exhibitors entered 51 total market animals in last week’s Wheat Land Communities Fair Junior Livestock virtual livestock show and sale.
Dr. Michael Colle of the University of Idaho evaluated all animals and determined the sale order.
Booker Auction Co. offered their online auction platform where the total sale grossed nearly $67,000.
“While this is not a record-breaking sale in terms of entries and prices, our community stepped up for our 4-H and FFA kids in times of deflated market prices and unprecedented backlogs in the processing chain,” said Livestock Sale Manager Lori Williams. “Online bidding was a new experience for most, and support funds continue to come in. Sale partners and buyers helped make this sale possible.”
