EDWALL – The Christian Heritage School in Edwall is planning to begin the 2020-21 school year, with in-person classes that include students wearing masks and 6 foot social distancing between desks.
The private school will start seventh-12th grade students Aug. 31 with the first- through sixth-grade students starting Sept. 3. The school schedule is from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Kindergarten is Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The school that participates in the Mountain Christian sports league will not be offering fall athletics due to coronavirus concerns, but will offer girls volleyball, boys soccer and boys and girls basketball in the spring.
Principal Marty Klein says the school that can accommodate roughly 100 students and still has openings for the 2020-21 school year.
Tuition costs are $3,100 for kindergarten and $4,750 per student for grades 1-12.
