July 4

Fireworks – 2200 block West state highway 26 Othello

• Fireworks complaint.

Domestic – 600 block South Andes Road Othello

• Report of possible attack and vehicle theft. Complainant advised she did not want contact.

Standby Peace – 2800 block West Bench View Lane Othello

• Request for assistance with removal of a vehicle from private property.

Traffic Hazard – West Bench Road Othello

• Othello Police Department called regarding an SUV and lane travel somewhere near the location.

Suspicious – West state highway 26 and South Anson Road Othello

• Report of two vehicles near the location with one vehicle leaving after observing an unknown transaction. The four subjects agreed to leave the area.

Fire – 700 block South Pence Road Lind

• Investigation is ongoing into a brush fire behind the country travel plaza truck stop/gas station that burned several acres. Deputies and Lind fire units responded. Burglary – 500 block North Benzel Road Ritzville

• Complainant advised their barn and storage containers had been burglarized. Investigation is ongoing.

Traffic Accident – West Bench Road and South Broadway Aveneu Othello

Two vehicle non-injury collision at the location.

Traffic Hazard – North Neilson Road Lind

• Report of vehicles driving too fast and almost striking one of the children at the residence. Subjects stated the complainant’s family member yelled and flipped them off after driving by. Subjects agreed to drive extra slowly when they pass by the residence.

Nuisance/Noise – 600 block South Drury Lane Othello

• Loud music at the location.

Suspicious – 2200 block West Shelly Road Othello

• Complainant reported someone may be inside her shed at the location. Deputies observed the shed locked and secure.

July 5

Traffic Hazard – West Cunningham Road Othello

• Report of a vehicle with doors open and running sitting in the middle of the road. The vehicle was towed. The owner arrived on scene and stated he had an argument with his ex and she ran off and he chased her. Othello Police arrived to speak with the owner of the vehicle as he may have been involved in an assault.

Traffic Hazard – South state highway 24 and West Hatton Road Othello

• Report of a white colored vehicle operating on the wrong side of roadway. Welfare Check – 2200 block West Cunningham Road Othello

• Request for a check on a juvenile subject at the location.

Traffic Hazard – 2100 block West state highway 26 Othello

• Report of a quad travelling at a high rate of speed near the location

Domestic – 500 block North Main Street Washtucna

• Advised of two subjects fighting in and outside a vehicle at the location. It was determined two brothers were having an argument. A report will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review.

Domestic – 300 block East 3rd Street Lind

• Investigation is ongoing into a report of a possible assault.

Malicious Mischief – 2000 block West Bench Road Othello

• Report of two juveniles actively spray painting a potato storage shed at the location. Juveniles inside the shed were detained and it was determined the juveniles did not spray paint the building. A report will be forwarded to the prosecutor for possible criminal trespass charges.

Hazardous Condition – Hatton

• Report of fireworks. Deputies did not respond as fireworks are allowed per RCW at this time.

Suspicious – West Cunningham Road and South Wagon Road Othello

• Report of a small controlled fire at the location.

July 6

Suspicious 911 – 600 block South Saddle Road Othello

• Multiple 911 calls made by a juvenile playing with an uninitialized cellular phone from the location.

• Traffic Accident – West 1st Avenue and Eastbound I-90 Ritzville

• Report of a traffic accident at the location. Deputies took over until WSP arrived.

Harassment – 1000 block South Sundance Road Othello

• Report of harassment. Both subjects were advised to seek legal counsel to assist with removal of personal property.

Welfare Check – 1100 block North Rand Lane Ritzville

• Request for a welfare check on a child. CPS advised the child is in good care and no welfare check was needed by the sheriff’s office.

Nuisance/Noise – 200 block East 3rd Street Lind

• Complaint of loud noise very early in the mornings.

Hazardous Condition – 600 block South Canal Road Othello

• Report of a one-year-old locked inside a vehicle. Deputies responded and complainant advised she had broken the window of the vehicle and no longer needed law enforcement assistance.

Citizen Assist – 200 block East 3rd Street Lind

• Complainant advised a subject was smoking marijuana with a juvenile subject. Investigation is ongoing.

Trespassing – 1000 block South Sundance Road Othello

• Complainant reported an unauthorized subject at the location. Deputies contacted the subject and trespassed him from the location.

July 7

Alarm – 2900 block West Gillis Road Othello

• False alarm.

Theft – 2200 block West state highway 26 Othello

• Investigation is ongoing into a complaint of a lunch box stolen off a porch containing signed checks.

Hazardous Condition – 300 block South Reynolds Road Othello

• Report of a roof blown off a neighboring trailer with subjects trapped inside. Units from multiple agencies responded to the scene and provided assistance. Citizen Assist – 700 block South Heeb Lane Othello

• Request for a welfare check on a 16-year-old and her one-year-old for an “update on how they were doing.” Complainant was advised the welfare check would not be completed as requested.

Burglary – 1000 block West Schrag Road Ritzville

Investigation is ongoing into a report of burglary at the location.

Animal Problem – 2400 block West Bench Road Othello

• Complainant advised of cows breaking her fence, eating her hay, and currently in her horse pasture at the location. Responsible said he would remove the cattle and pay for the hay his cows consumed.

Alarm – 700 block South Ridgeview Loop Othello

• False alarm.

Standby Peace – 1000 block South Sundance Road Othello

• Standby for peace at the location while complainant collected his belongings.

Suspicious – 700 block South Reynolds Road Othello

• A tractor was observed near haystacks at the location with its lights on. Multiple tractors were observed and all had keys remaining in the cab. Call made for documentation.

July 8

Welfare Check – 800 block South Weaver Lane Othello

• Report of a family member making suicidal statements at the location. Deputies took the subject in for a mental health evaluation.

Alarm – 1800 block North Seivers Road Ritzville

• False alarm.

Standby Peace – 1000 block South Sundance Road Othello

• Deputies performed a standby peace at the location while a subject retrieved a vehicle.

Standby Peace – 2800 block West Bench View Lane Othello

• Request for a standby while subject retrieved a vehicle from a location where he had been trespassed. Other subject stated he would not release the vehicle until storage fees were paid. Both parties were advised the matter was civil in nature and the sheriff’s office could not force either subject to pay the other.

Suspicious 911 – 200 block 2nd Avenue Hatton

• Report of a suspicious 911 hang up at the location. Deputies arrived and the subject advised one of her juveniles was on her cellular device.

Traffic Hazard – 2100 block West Cunningham Road Othello

• Several vehicles were observed near the location and one vehicle was blocking the roadway. The vehicle was towed from the location.

July 9

Agency Assist – 1000 block South Hi-Lo Drive Othello

• Report of a damaged vehicle parked in the driveway at the location. Deputies determined the vehicle was involved in a hit and run earlier in the day. The case is being referred to the Washington State Patrol.

Domestic – 600 block South Andes Road Othello

• Third party report of a domestic incident. Isaias Espinobarros-Gonzalez was arrested and booked into jail for Assault 4th Degree DV and other charges.

Alarm – 700 block South Ridgeview Loop Othello

• False alarm.

Hazardous Condition – 800 block South state highway 17 Othello

• Report of gun shots near the location. A subject stated he was shooting on family property.

Malicious Mischief – 2200 block West Barbara Road Othello

• Investigation is ongoing into graffiti painted on a fence at the location.

Suspicious 911 – 300 block East 5th Street Lind

• Dispatch advised of a suspicious 911 hang up call at the location. Deputies responded to the location and determined everything was fine.

Malicious Mischief – 2200 block West Barbara Road Othello

Investigation is ongoing into graffiti painted on a shed roof.

Agency Assist – 100 block Apple Alley Lane Hatton

• Washington State CPS requested assistance while they contacted subjects at the location.

• July 10

Alarm – 1200 block North Sage Road Ritzville

• False alarm. The residence was cleared finding no one inside.

Traffic Hazard – North Hills Road Ritzville

• Report of semis driving at a high rate of speed in the area.

Malicious Mischief – 1000 block South Sundance Road Othello

• Complainant advised of a vehicle being vandalized at the location. Unknown location of where the crime occurred.

Traffic Accident – South state highway 17 and East Main Street Othello

• Deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision at the location until WSP arrived.

Animal Problem – 900 block South state highway 24 Othello

• Report of an aggressive dog and quads near the location.

Traffic Hazard – 2100 block West state highway 26 Othello

• Report of a quad on the canal access road near the location.

Malicious Mischief – 1000 block South Sundance Road Othello

• Complainant advised a picture she had thrown in her dumpster previously was just found in her mailbox. Investigation is ongoing.

Alarm – 1700 block West Herman Road Othello

• False alarm.

Assault – West Cunningham Road Othello

• Report of an assault several days prior. Complainant refused to speak with deputies and only wanted to speak with the Sheriff.

• Citizen Assist – East I-90 Ritzville

• Child custody issues involving a subject taking children from California. Complainant was advised incident was civil in nature in the state of Washington.

Juvenile Problem – West July Street Othello

• Report of two juveniles spraying painting a wall near the location. The juveniles were given courtesy rides to their residences, and a report will be forwarded to prosecutor’s office.

Domestic – 600 block South Wagon Road Othello

• Report of a verbal domestic at the location. Complainant was advised of options to seek a court order to prohibit contact with the subject.

Citizen Assist – 600 block South Taylor Road Othello

• Complainant advised she had purchased a vehicle from an unknown subject. Complainant was provided options on how to transfer title to her name.

Domestic – 600 block South Wagon Street Othello

• Report of a domestic at the listed location. Subject fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival. Deputies determined an assault occurred, and a report will be forwarded to prosecutor’s office.

Animal Problem – East state highway 26 and North Main Street Washtucna

• Report of loose cattle at location.

Narcotics – 2100 block West Cunningham Road Othello

• Cody Flores was booked into jail for possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding Department of Corrections warrant for his arrest.
