6-1 Through 6-6-20

6-1 12:56 A request was received from Moses Lake PD regarding trespass letters on two subjects living in Ritzville regarding shoplifting at a Moses Lake store.

6-1 13:07 Report of tagging on the front of a local business. The graffitti was cleaned off upon arrival of an officer.

6-1 15:49 A complainant called the PD requesting to file a complaint on the Adams County Juvenile Department. The PD will not act on that complaint.

6-1 18:51 Citizens assist call requesting an officer contact family members regarding a family dispute and family members not wanting to leave their residence.

6-1 20:55 Un-secured building at the golf course was observed and secured.

6-1 23:00 Complaint of a horn going off on a vehicle in the State DOT yard. Responsible party disconnected the horn, saying it had been a problem.

6-2 05:46 A subject was issued a warning following a complaint about them sleeping in their vehicle and urinating on the street.

6-2 08:19 Welfare check on family members requested by a subject living out of town.

6-2 08:30 Report of an attempted burglary at a local business turned out to be the storm window blowing off and shattering in the alley during the May 30 storm.

6-2 10:10 A request from Adult Protective Services regarding financial exploitation of a local resident was forwarded to the Moses Lake PD, as that is where the suspect is living.

6-2 13:29 An officer and WSP trooper checked a local business parking lot after a call to 911. No one was located needing assistance.

6-2 18:47 Report of a building left open at a local business. An employee said they would close it before leaving.

6-3 01:02 Report of a suspicious white vehicle in the area of Adams and 8th Ave. Caller reported subject ran to the vehicle and drove off heading north when approached. Suspicious activity with subjects on bicycles in the area late at night the past few days was reported. Subject advised to call the police and not approach the subjects if they are seen again.

6-3 09:26 Report of a fraudelent charge on a credit card. Subject reported it was a mistake and has been resolved.

6-3 11:17 Complaint of a white pickup parking in an alley near 4th and Jefferson over the last three weeks and obstructing traffic. Workers at the residence had a language barrier, but one said he would let let his boss know.

6-3 14:38 Officer responded to an ambulance being toned out for a high school age student laying in the street with road rash after riding a skate board north on the Adams Street Hill at a high rate of speed and crashing. Subject was transported to the hospital by an EMT.

6-3 14:38 Report of liquid overflowing a large tank at the airport turned out to be water being used by a spray pilot. Ground crew on scene shut the water off.

6-3 19:43 Driver’s license left at a local truck stop. Officer informed the manager.

6-3 23:53 A subject in Ritzville on a family matter was contacted following a call from an Idaho County Sheriff’s Department reporting his motor home had caught fire. Subject said he abandoned the motor home three months ago.

6-4 10:39 Report of online harassment regarding an online dating site, where a girl sent pictures of herself partly clothed to the reporting party; who then received a call from someone in North Carolina demanding payment for the photos. Complainant was advised to stay off dating sites.

6-4 20:52 False alarm at a business, possible caused by a power flicker.

6-4 21:42 Subject was trespassed from a local truck stop.

6-5 09:37 Report of a tan puppy and a larger brown dog running loose on Palouse between 5th and 6th streets. Dogs were not located.

6-5 12:11 Report of a strange subject walking around town writing things down. Subject was contacted near the RR tracks on Division Street and said he was thinking of selling his house on the coast and purchasing property in eastern Washington. He said given the current issues in this country, he fully understood why someone reported him.

6-5 12:50 Complaints of a female urinating in the street turned out to be a subject living in her car. She was warned to use a public restroom and not urinate in public any more.

6-5 16:50 A report of two busses being parked in the lot next to a local fast food establishment was received. The complainant said there were no people in the establishment but there were a hundred people in the park and he felt that may be suspicious. The busses were parked in the lot of a local motel and there was a gathering of about 30-40 people in the park that were celebrating the live of a family member after a funeral earlier in the day.

6-5 17:30 A report of two male subjects wearing hoodies pushed a car onto the tracks between Division and Adams Streets, left it and were walking north on Columbia. An officer checked the area and located the vehicle just outside a local towing company impound yard. There were two subjects with the car and were trying to jump start it. They said the car was given to one of them by a friend and it quit there. They were going to push it home but that was not going to work so they went and got a pickup to jump it with or pull it. It was near a set of tracks that is not used any longer.

6-6 09:25 A report of two dogs running at large near 6th and Palouse was received. There was no officer available at the time. The area was checked later in the day but no dogs were observed in the area.

6-6 15:07 An officer assisted at the Ritzville Hospital with a subject who had become violent.

6-6 16:23 Report of a vehicle and trailer blocking a driveway on west First.

6-6 16:28 An officer backd up a WSP Trooper and an Adams County Deputy at mile post 94 on SR 395 with a high risk traffic stop. One of the subjects in the vehicle was reported to have brandished a firearm at an off duty DOC officer in Kennewick. The vehicle was stopped, three subjects were detained, and a look-alike plastic BB gun was located. The WSP will forward the information on the suspect and gun to the Kennewick PD.

6-6 17:28 An officer was requested at a local establishment, regarding a bartender that may have been consuming alcohol while at work. The bartender refused a portable breath test and was instructed by the management to leave the premises and she was no longer employed.

6-6 17:49 An agency request was received at the Rtizville Hospital. An officer responded and assisted as needed with an unruly patient.
