Ritzville woman arrested for assault

RITZVILLE — Emily S. McNeilly, 30, was arrested and booked into the Adams County Jail on a fourth-degree assault charge May 26.

Police were dispatched to an apartment in the 600 block of West Main after a 22-year-old called to report the assault, records show. When police responded, the young woman claimed to have been slapped on the arm and punched on the ear by McNeilly.

According to the law enforcement report, the young woman lives in an apartment close to the apartment where McNeilly lives with her partner and their children.

McNeilly accused the young woman of having an affair with her partner, according to the report. McNeilly was arrested shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 26.
