RITZVILLE — The Adams County Auditor’s Office will be accepting filings for local offices from Monday through Friday, May 11-15.
Local offices open for filing are:
• Adams County Commissioner District No. 1; filing fee of $636.
• Adams County Commissioner District No. 2; filing fee of $636.
• Adams County Superior Court Judge; filing fee of $1,909.85.
Filing is also open for all precinct committee offices, with no filing fee.
Legal residents filing for a county commissioner position must be a registered voter within the district that they are filing.

Everyone filing for judge must be an attorney licensed to practice law in Washington and be a registered voter.
Filing fees, collected at the time of filing, are non-refundable.
Filings will be accepted daily May 11-15 at the Adams County Auditor’s Office, 210 Broadway Ave., Ste. 200.
The Auditor’s Office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
If the Adams County Courthouse is still closed to the public due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person candidate filing will only be completed by appointment.
Candidates must call 509-659-3249 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to schedule a time to meet staff at the courthouse front door.
Online filing is available 24 hours per day for the first four days of filing week, and can be accessed at http://www.vote.wa.gov or http://www.co.adams.wa.us. On Friday, May 15, filing closes at 4 p.m.
