Hoop teams move on in districts

The Lind-Ritzville Sprague boys and girls basketball teams both picked up wins in their first matchups of the district tournament on Thursday.

The LRS girls won 46-42 over Kettle Falls in a back-and-forth game. They will play Colfax in the semi finals on Tuesday.

The boys beat Jenkins (Chewelah) 49-43. They will play St. George's on Tuesday.
