Brief: New profile series coming soon to The Journal

With the arrival of a new year, The Journal is saying goodbye to one series and hello to another. After 18 editions, the Teacher Profile Series has come to an end.

Since its debut on Aug. 1, the series has featured teachers from Lind, Ritzville, Washtucna and Benge. We have met teachers from first grade through high school, teachers who are also coaches, a band director and three principals.

While we at The Journal have had a lot of fun profiling these educators, we are also excited to move on to our next series. Beginning next week, hopefully, The Journal will present the Law Enforcement Profile Series. As the name suggests, each edition will see us get to know a local law enforcement officer a little better. Up first will be Ritzville Police Chief Dave McCormick.
