DAVENPORT – Here are the preliminary results of the Nov. 5 general election for Lincoln County.
Late-arriving votes had yet to be counted as of press time.
The tally for the 13th Legislative District race, car-tab cap Initiative 976, affirmative action measure Referendum 88, the constitutional amendment and advisory votes represent the preliminary count only for Lincoln County.
The Lincoln County Canvassing Board has until Nov. 26 to forward results to the Secretary of State Office in Olympia, which has until Dec. 7 to certify election results.

All of the candidates running for county fire districts' commissioner, parks and recreation, and cemetery boards ran unopposed and were unanimously elected. Those candidates include:
Fire districts – Michelle K. Ringwood-Osborne, Matthew William Kagele, Casey F. Nonnemacher, Mike Piper, Alan Tanke, Dale Dreger, Mike Eagle, Daniel Zlateff and Richard Coffland.
Cemetery districts – Jeff Wagner, Johanna D. Ellis, Susan Arndt, Kevin Kintschi and LaRae Rodriguez.
Parks and recreation districts – Denver Black, Kevin Klein, Justin Wollweber, Michael Bishop,Steven J. Ferris, Gary Peterson, Linda D. Smith, Marjorie Peha, Dick Wandling, Becky Evers and Alton Leisle.
In the straw ballot advisory votes, Lincoln County voters overwhelmingly told lawmakers to repeal new taxes passed during the 2019 legislative session, except for one.
By only a 9-vote margin on Advisory Vote No. 23, those casting ballots in the county said lawmakers could keep the new tax on e-cigarette and vaping products.
