Brief: Gritman Senior Center to begin serving lunch on Mondays

Beginning on July 8, the Gritman Senior Center will begin serving lunch on Mondays.

With the addition, meals will now be served at the senior center Monday through Thursday. This year’s summer menu is expected to include a wide array of options.

Menus will be listed weekly in The Journal and are also available to pick up at the Gritman Senior Center, located at 118 W Main Ave.

A $5 donation per meal is still recommended, and attendees are asked to call in by 10 a.m. each day to reserve a meal or find out what is on the menu. The senior center also provides in-town delivery of meals and will prepare meals to go. Call (509) 659-1921 for more information.
