Five students from LaCrosse High School took a giant step forward in their lives on June 8, graduating in front of friends, family and community members.
Those five students combined to earn more than $27,600 in scholarships.
Alynn Harder received: Valedictorian Award, Female Athlete of the Year, Torgeson Memorial Award, LaCrosse Community Club Scholarship, Thrifty Grandmother’s Shop Scholarship, FFA 2017 State Land Judging CDE from the Roscoe and Frances Cox Scholarship Fund at Washington State University, The Lewiston-Clarkston Antique Power Club Scholarship, Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Scholarship from the National FFA Foundation, Washington Cattle Feeders Association Scholarship, LaCrosse Class of 1979, Standing Tall for American Agriculture--The McGregor Company Scholarship, Clemente Barber--The McGregor Company Scholarship, Gayle Startin Memorial Scholarship, and LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.
Stephen Campbell received the LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.
Autumn Meyers received the Urgel and Virginia Bell Memorial Scholarship and the LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.
Daniel Ornelas received the LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.
Jordanne Webb received: Kelli Scharpenberg Memorial Scholarship, Walla Walla Community College Foundation the Dr. Michael and Susan Gillespie Scholarship, LaCrosse Masonic Scholarship, Jack E. Ferris Scholarship, and LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.
