Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
Dear Editor,
As the school year nears an end, most of us think of summer. On June 17, Ritzville Community Vacation Bible School gears up.
With an African Safari theme this year, we remember that When Life is Wild, God is Good. We will meet many wonderful wildlife characters and hear their adventures growing up. Lots of songs, food (insect snacks— not really but it looks like it), crafts, games and Bible stories of God’s love and care, even when life is not fair or scary.
We would love to have you pre-register your child and yourself as a volunteer from the comfort of your own home. Just go to https://vbspro.events/p/3bcf86 to register. Our first volunteer meeting is May 29 at 7 p.m. at the Lutheran church. We need help and volunteers in all areas of the program.
It runs from June 17-21. If you can’t come for every day, come for those you can. We can register age 3 through (just finished) 5th grade. If you’re a middle school or high school student who needs credit for community service, come and get registered. This counts toward your hours.
Donations are also welcome. If you wish to donate by check, please make it out to RMA (Ritzville Ministerial Association). Any amount will help.
Get excited…we’re ready to roar! Life is wild. God is Good.
For any questions, please contact Pastor Bob Kenyon at 509-347-6313 or 509-659-1181.
Bob Kenyon,
Ritzville
