The interior of Gilson gym was brightly lit and full of energy on Tuesday evening, Jan. 15. It was the beginning of Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Bronco’s only home wrestling match of the season.
At 7 p.m., well after an hour of competitor and team warm-ups, the gym lights darkened, and a single very bright spotlight descended from the high ceiling—dropping to 15-20 feet above the wrestling ring on the single wrestling mat.
