Jan. 9, 09:40 — A complainant was received regarding an older motor home parked on west Main Ave. and it smelled like sewer. An officer responded and did not note the sewer smell. The owner was contacted and to remove the vehicle by tomorrow or it would be towed. The property owner was contacted and advised he gave the owner until tomorrow to move the motor home. Options were discussed with the owner due to the numerous complaints of her leaving it different locations around town.
Jan. 10, 07:45 — a complainant was received from a subject doing an inspection at a residence in foreclosure on Cascade St. He advised the residence was unsecure and thought someone may be squatting in the house. An officer responded and checked the residence. It appeared to be in the same condition it was in last summer as the same type of report was received. The residence had locking code box on the front door and may not have been secured last time it was entered.
Jan. 10, 13:08 — a complainant was received advising a prescription had been lost and was wondering if it had been turned in. The subject was advised it had not been turned in.
Jan. 11, 07:07 an alarm company called to report a self-initiated alarm had been received from a residence on east 6th advising she thought someone was steeling her car. The car was safely locked in the garage. The complaint then advised she thought it may be her neighbor’s car that had been stolen but that neighbor was out of town. The complaint was unfounded.
Jan. 11, 14:24 — a request was received from the school to conduct a welfare check on a student who had not been to school since the winter break. Contact was made with a guardian of the student who advised the student had moved back to Idaho with a parent and would be re-enrolling in school there.
