What are you grateful for this Thanksgiving?

Benge Third Grade

I am thankful for my family, dogs, turkeys, and stuffing. Turkey is good with stuffing and I like mashed potatoes and the food that my grandma makes, like pretzel salad. This is the first Thanksgiving that my dogs have had with us. My sisters are totally fun and my brother is very fun. When we play football my brother always catches it. Then when I play with my dogs they chase me, it is really fun at Thanksgiving. That is all the stuff I am thankful for at Thanksgiving.

I’m thankful for my community. It is safe. For the holidays people show a lot of care for each other. I’m thankful for my family. They love and support me. When I do gymnastics and I don’t get a medal, they still think I did really good. I am thankful for animals. They help eat some of the grass so weeds don’t grow. My pets don’t leave me alone even if I’m in a bad mood, and that cheers me up. My community is great!
