Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
Contributed By Kathryn Schafer
After enjoying a three-weekend run in Cheney, StageWest Community Theatre of Cheney has decided to bring the humorous and emotional production of A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters, directed by Harry Schafer, to Ritzville for a one-night performance on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m.
If you didn’t get a chance to see the play in Cheney, now’s your chance. Trinity United Methodist Church is graciously allowing the cast of two—Jamie Javorsky as “Melissa” and Mark Sheldon as “Andy”—to perform on their Fellowship Room stage.
This is not a mushy love story in the usual sense—so gentlemen, you too will enjoy this approximately two-hour play. There is a 15-minute intermission between two acts, at which time refreshments will be provided.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 per person. For more information, please call Harry Schafer at: (509) 660-0477. More publicity about the play will follow.
