Lady Broncos defeat Tekoa-Rosalia in league opener

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Lady Broncos volleyball team opened Northeast 2B South League play on Sept. 13 in Tekoa, with a 3-0 sweep against the Lady Timberwolves.

The Lady Broncos controlled the match with scores of 25-20, 25-15 and 25-13. The win improved LRS league record to 2-0 overall.

Head Coach Cari Galbreath said the league victory was a good win for the Lady Broncos. She felt LRS played well throughout the match, as well as capitalized on mistakes Tekoa-Rosalia made during the contest.
