Nicole Reyling
Nicole Reyling teaches Math at LRHS. She grew up in Monroe, Washington and graduated high school in 2011. The second youngest of six children, Reyling described her family as close and together they take camping trips, have dinner and spend time together.
Reyling attended Shoreline Community College after high school on a softball scholarship and graduated with a transfer associate’s degree in 2013. She graduated from WSU in 2017 with an education degree.
Her teaching career began at Frontier Middle School in Moses Lake teaching support math classes. She also developed a test preparations class to help students get ready for the Smarter Balanced Assessment exam.
Reyling said she became a teacher after being influenced by her instructors when she was younger. She noted there are many people who have negative experience with math and do not like it.
One of her goals as a teacher is to help students realize the importance of math and how they will use it throughout their life. In her first year, she hopes to show students that math can be a fun subject.
Reyling enjoys camping, relaxing at home and spending time with her family.
