Chelsie Kneale teaches third grade at RGS. Kneale said she grew up in Colfax and attended school in LaCrosse where she attended high school.

Following high school, Kneale attended Eastern Washington University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She currently commutes from Cheney to Ritzville during the work week while her family lives in Colfax. In addition to her family, she has a cocker spaniel named Sammy.

Prior to being hired at RGS, Kneale completed her student teaching the Steptoe School District in Colfax.

Kneale said she became a teacher because she enjoys working with children, which she has done since she was young. She also loves when a child begins to understand a concept.

As a first year teacher, Kneale said she would like to stay organized, as well as help students grow their love of learning, especially in English and Math.

In her spare time, Kneale enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the lake. She likes to go camping, watch movies and read.
