Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
The Ralston Grange concession will be open from Wednesday through Sunday during the upcoming Wheat Land Communities’ Fair. Wednesday afternoon and evening only the Grange will be offering a potato bar at their building.
All other days the food concession will offer kraut ranza, German sausage, jalapeno sausage, soft pretzels, chocolate zucchini muffins, Wilma’s popcorn balls and beverages.
Activities at their building will include hosting the Adams County Pet Rescue on Thursday afternoon beginning at 4, bingo on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and on Saturday from 1-7 p.m., and kids games geared for youngsters 10 and under on Sunday from noon to 1 p.m.
The cost to play bingo is one card for 50 cents or two for 75 cents per game. The kids’ games on Sunday are free.
The Grange will also have entries in the booth division of the fair representing the Ralston Grange and their Junior Grange.
The Grange is still looking for volunteers to help with the food and bingo concession. Workers are needed for all shifts, which last from 2 to 3 hours. Helpers do not need to be Grange members.
