In celebration of the National Park System’s 102nd birthday, the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission is offering a free visit to Washington’s state parks on Aug. 25.
Visitors will not need a Discover Pass to access state parks by vehicle on that day.
In a release, Director of Washington State Parks Don Hoch encouraged visitors to take advantage of the free day by visiting a new park, or trying to a new activity at their favorite facility.
