Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
People planning on exhibiting in the Photography department this year at the Wheat Land Communities’ Fair should reference the rules and changes in section categories listed in the Exhibitors’ Guide.
Photos, as in the past, must be 8-inch by 10-inch and mounted securely on either an 11-inch by 14-inch mount board or mat. No poster board, frames or glass will be allowed.
Also, digital photos must be printed on photo paper as copy paper will not be accepted.
Photos must be original with only slight variations made to exposure, or to change a color photo to black and white. No digitally manipulated photos that compromise the integrity of that photo will be judged.
Judging will be based on composition, technical quality, creativity and impact.
A “Best of Class” will be selected for each section/category, with the “Best of Show” chosen from the nine Best of Class photos. As in the past, a $20 gift certificate will be awarded to the Best of Show exhibitor.
