Informational meeting on Paid Family, Medical Leave Program

Area residents who are interested in learning more about the state’s new Paid Family and Medical Leave Program are invited to attend a free informational meeting on July 18.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at WSU Extension, 205 West Main Avenue in Ritzville.

Presenter Silvia Lugo, communications and outreach consultant for Washington Employment Security Department, will present on coverage, eligibility, weekly benefits, job protection and cost in relation to the program.

Adams County Development Council, Uniquely Washington and Adams County are sponsoring the event.
