Gayle and Gaynel Gering will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on June 21.
Gaynel is the daughter of Ted and Mildred Wellsandt and Gayle is the son of Joe and Pearl Gering. The couple was married in 1958 at the Lutheran Church in Ritzville.
They began their married life in Moses Lake where Gayle worked as the head mechanic at the Sugar Beet factory. Gaynel worked at the school district office, then later at the high school as secretary to the principal and vice principal.
They moved to Ritzville in 1964 with their young family and became third generation farmers where they still reside.
They will celebrate this special occasion with a brunch at The Davenport Hotel with their family. They have three children Susan (Brian) Webley, Brad (Debbie) Gering and Steven (Dawn) Gering. They are proud grandparents to eight grandchildren; Bethany (Ben) Hart, Matt (Kylie) Webley, Kayla Webley, and Bryson, Abby, Trajan, Karsten and Cade Gering.
Their children and grandchildren want to express their love and gratitude for a lifetime of love to each other and a love they have passed on through the generations to both family and friends.
The family said they are richer in life because of Gayle and Gaynel’s example and unending love for them.
