Richard Glenn “Butch” Phillips

Richard Glenn “Butch” Phillips, age 73, passed away on May 27, 2018 at Hospice in Spokane. Butch was born October 13, 1944 in Wapato, Washington to parents, Richard Eldon and Opal (Walker) Phillips. He had two sisters and one step sister.

Butch served in the US Army from October 13, 1961 to May 8, 1963. He received the Army Occupation Medal (Berlin) and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.

He spent at least 30 years driving truck. He also worked as a mechanic repairing vehicles. Butch loved teasing people and you never knew what he was going to say. He also loved to go fishing and tell stories.
