Raffle drawing allows winner to drive combine in Derby

After the success last year, the Lind Lions Club is once again hosting a raffle drawing during the beginning of the Combine Demolition Derby with the winner receiving the chance to drive a combine in the Derby competition.

The raffle begins on Friday night at the car and pickup races, beginning at 6 p.m., and continues until the races on Saturday.

Tickets are $10 and entrants must be at least 18 years old. The drawing will take place prior to the start of Derby, and the winner will have a chance to learn how to operate the machine and also learn the safety and rules of the event.

Tickets can be purchased from Grant Miller on Friday, and on Saturday at the parade and barbecue in the park.
