Classics on Main attracts large crowd to downtown Ritzville

The Classics on Main Car Show coordinators awarded nine awards on Sunday, May 27.

The People’s Choice Car award went to Ron Williams from Moses Lake for his 1956 Chevy Bel-Air. Bob and Judy Kent earned the People’s Choice Pickup award for their 1941 Chevy pickup.

The Ritzville Fire Department was the recipient of the People’s Choice Truck for their antique fire truck. Orris and Teresa Janzen took home the People’s Choice Motorcycle award for their 1977 Harley Davidson.

The Oldest Vehicle award went to Curt and Tracy Schell of Ritzville for their 1929 Ford Model A Roadster pickup.

Glenn Boatman of Kent received the Longest Distance Traveled award. The Participant’s Choice award went to Blaine and Carol Sherfine for their 1937 Dodge D-5 pickup.

The President’s Choice award went to Ron Weston for his 1949 Chevy/Dodge Tow Truck.

Rounding out the day’s awards was the Undeberg Memorial award, which went to John Hillier for his 1963.5 Ford Galaxie 500.
