Kathryn Lynne Werth Katz

Note: With alumni returning home for the annual banquet, the Ritzville High School Class of 1967 wanted to take this opportunity to remember these classmates, who did not have published obituaries at the time of their passing.

Kathy was born Dec. 6, 1948, and died Aug. 7, 2015. Kathy graduated from the University of Iowa in 1977 with a Degree in Nursing and was employed in Baltimore, Maryland, Arizona, and Seattle. Kathy served in the Air Force and the Navy.

She retired and lived in Seattle until her death. Kathy was an activist for a variety of mainly health-related causes; enjoyed videotaping and communicating with others via the Internet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Janet (Robertson) Werth. Kathy is survived by her siblings: Tom (Seattle), Margy Werth Triplett, Carol Werth Flory, and Bob all in Spokane, and Sandy Wolfe (Colorado). Kathy will be inurned in Willamette Valley National Cemetery near her father.
