The Ritzville Classic Car Club rolls out the red carpet every Sunday of Memorial Day weekend for auto enthusiasts and visitors during its annual extravaganza.
The event, Classics on Main Street, is being displayed in downtown Ritzville for the fifth consecutive year, as it is a location well suited to highlight the unique and spectacular styles of the vehicles.
The show in downtown Ritzville begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 27, and lasts until 2 p.m.
Residents are advised Main Avenue will be closed from Division Street to Adams Street from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
If the amount of cars exceeds the space, a portion of Columbia Street will be closed as well.
Local downtown businesses will be open to sell food, and one food vendor will also be onsite.
The H.E. Gritman Senior Center will be hosting a fundraiser with boxed sandwiches and ice cream treats available for purchase.
Along with vendors, door prizes and raffles are awarded throughout the day.
Before the car show closes, several awards are awarded, including President’s Choice, Undeberg Memorial, Participant’s Choice, People’s Choice Car, People’s Choice Truck, People’s Choice Motorcycle, Longest Distance Traveled and Oldest Vehicle.
