Broncos golf competes in league match in Colville

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos golf team traveled to Colville on April 10 to compete in a Northeast 2B League match, hosted by Kettle Falls.

Morgan Brausen led the Broncos boys after hitting an 89 over 18 holes. Dirk Dahlman shot a 91 while Spencer Gering finished with a 99.

Ellie Gering was the top finisher for the Bronco girls, hitting a 104. Molly Hane and Taelor Umland both finished the competition with a 142.

Head Coach Nick Weishaar said he was pleased with how the athletes improved their scores and played well, despite the weather conditions.

Weishaar was also proud of how first-year golfers, Hane and Umland, finished an 18-hole match for the first time in their high school careers.
