DYW program slated for March 17

The 2018-2019 Distinguished Young Woman Program date has been announced. It will be held on Saturday, March 17, at 7 p.m. in the Lind-Ritzville Middle School gymnasium in Lind.

This year’s participants are Kelcee Carlson, Else Gielisch, Madison Melcher, Chelsie Watterson and Kierstin Witt.

The DYW program is a national program where local participants will compete for nearly to $3,500 in scholarships.

The outgoing Distinguished Young Woman, Tessa O’Brien, and finalists, Rachel Schell and Sierra Kiel, will be passing on their titles at the program.
